ABOUT THE HOUSEMEN

From Yellowknife, The Housemen are a trio of stay-at-home dad's who liked to jam. They began writing original songs and the band was born. Mixing Rock n’ Roll and power ballads, The Housemen tell their stories as they see them. In less than two years they have composed close to 20 original songs, and will have released their first full album by summer of 2021.

The Housemen have performed a number of local festivals (Snow Castle, Long John Jamboree, Festival on Franklin, Hay River Hay Days), events (Music NWT Showcase, YK Farmer’s

Market), open mics, private parties, and volunteer gigs. Their music is now featured as the introduction for the TV Series “Shit I Found Diving in Yellowknife” (2019) and in the Dead

North movie short “The Last Visitor” (2020). Their popularity continues to grow as the requests for performances keep coming in.

Jeff Sleno - singer, songwriter, and guitarist, is a pioneer of Stay Home Dads, putting aside his career to raise his 7 children for two decades. Now with a new surge of inspiration, Jeff performs acoustically driven songs with heart and passion.

Allan Yeoman - Bassist and father of two, honed his craft over many years, inspired by the likes of

Paul McCartney and Tom Petersson. Striving to create the baseline each song is meant to have, he is always

seeking new revelations.

Trevor - Drummer and father of two, never stops smiling when he is drumming. Trevor

states, "How can you not be smiling when you get to drum along to great tunes and

connect with awesome fans!"
